Exposure - The tools you need to make sure all college coaches know about you -- don't wait to hear from coaches! We use direct mail, internet, phone calls and video to market student athletes to more than 2,000 colleges and universities and more than 18,000 college coaches.

Guidance - How to create specific playing, scholarship and admissions opportunities and how to determine which recruiting opportunity is right for you.

Experience - How to use leverage to find the right college to match your specific needs and wants. 
 

To Develop Opportunities --

Admissions - The combination of academic and athletic skill can help a high school student-athlete stand out amongst the crowd in the application process.  Each student-athlete has an on campus cheerleader -- the coach!
 
Playing - A College Coach may have need for an athlete with your specific size, skill and personality to fill a roster spot.  However, if they don't know about you, you won't fill the roster spot!

Scholarship - A College Coach is a influencer and decision maker in the college financial aid process.  If he/she wants you to play, financial and merit based aid can be made available. 


Based on Your Specific Need --

Educational - What educational program are you interested in?  What post-graduate career do you want to explore? You need to make sure any school can satisfy these needs.

Personal - What type of school are you looking for?  Small, Big, Urban, Rural?  Does walking onto campus give you a good feeling or bad?

Extra Curricular - Sports. Student Government. Religion. etc.  What will round out your college experience?

CPOA can offer the following services:

Get on the CPOA-Alaska Payment Plan!

It is the goal of CPOA-Alaska that all deserving student-athletes who want to use the country's most comprehensive high school student-athlete marketing service can do so; even if financially it is difficult for them. We have a payment program in place that enables a family to obtain the services by making a small down payment and then pay the remainingbalance on a monthly basis. the family can begin the recruiting process and take full advantage of all the services and expert guidance CPOA-Alaska provides without delay! There are certain criteria of the student-athlete that need to be met to be eligible for this Payment Plan and the amount of the down payment depends on what year of high school the student-athlete signs on to the program.

If the student-athlete has a 3.5 GPA or above, as well as a good athletic background, and you would like to find out how to get on the Payment Plan, please contact CPOA-Alaska by calling (907) 561-2527.

CPOA also offers the College Money Program.  As soon as the necessary financial information is provided by the family, CPOA will prepare a Trial Financial Aid Analysis (TFAA) and calculate an estimated Expected Family Contribution (EFC).  During the student's senior year of high school, CPOA will prepare the family's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and electronically file it when it is completed.  CPOA will also complete an Institutional Aid Profile form to be distributed to the appropriate college(s) by the family, provide information about the Federal Stafford Loan Program as well as the Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) Program, and offer counseling on all aspects of the college financial aid process and how to best market the student's abilities to colleges and universities in an attempt to secure the best financial aid package possible.
